Andrewhaigphotography
Hi everyone. Absolutely loving Affinity Photo (recently moved from PS). I am currently trying to create artificial light on a portrait, I am not a fan of the lighting filter, so I am trying to use a paint brush to create the effect, I usually get the general idea and then toy around with the colour, however, it will not allow me to change the colour once I have added the effect.. Any ideas? Thanks!
Staff James Ritson Posted August 17, 2016 Staff Share Posted August 17, 2016 Hey there, are you painting onto a new pixel layer? If so, with the layer selected, you could go into the Effects panel (might be abbreviated to FX depending on your screen size) and enable Colour Overlay. You can then change the colour and opacity, and additionally, if you click the cog icon the dialog will allow you to change the blend mode as well. Hope that helps!
