Hi all, its my first post so bear with me, I'll try to facilitate as much information as possible :)

So as the title says: today i have officially bought my affinity license for the v2 apps, and after promptly installing i went to start working in designer but it keeps crashing after hitting the create button on any type of canvas. When i say crashes i mean the window simply closes, no error or pop up window.

I have been searching for a solution on the internet and these forums, however all the potential fixes suggested don't work for me, so far i have:

- Updated my GPU drivers.

- Updated .NET to the latest version (4.8.1 i believe. using this link [https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet-framework/net481] supplied by a member on another similar post.

- disabled hardware acceleration

restarted my pc multiple times to update all these components .

some more information that might help:

I am using a ryzen 5 3600 and an nvidia 1660 super, and currently dual booting windows 10 and linux on my machine, I don't think this would impact the performance of affinity in any way since i installed both OS's on separate drives, and windows was installed with the linux drive disconnected, so they don't even share UEFI boot folders, they each have their own.

I could not attempt to change my renderer setting within the designer app, since it appears completely blank and has no options to select when clicking on the drop down.

Additionally i don't believe its a driver problem, since blender can recognize, use, and take full advantage of my GPU. although this might mean nothing.

Thanks in advance for any answers, they would be much appreciated.

I'm attaching the most recent crash report
