Unfortunately, I have to repeat what many have said before, this time with anger. This is simply the UK championship in irresponsibility, and Serif wins by showing this box at every single damned program startup on Windows, regardless of the Affinity application. Again and again and again.

Serif, you're nudging thousands of people into an update that, like 2.6.0 and others before it, has been riddled with bugs, and you're doing absolutely nothing to change that. You don't prioritize it, and you are not looking after your customers' interests.

The holiday is over, this simply can't go on any longer – you need to fix this now! There’s no excuse, and I won’t be responding to replies in this thread from you or anyone else. I have no idea why you’ve been sitting idly by, failing to implement a simple solution that so many others have, but this is absolutely unacceptable! And to those saying you can just click OK—try thinking it all through a couple of thousand times from above before you write exactly that.

Thank goodness my main machine is a Mac, so I’m spared this relentless nuisance every time I start a program. Having learned from others’ misfortune, I’ve wisely avoided upgrading to 2.6.unsafe—so far.
