nanana07 Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Device & OS: iPad Pro + iPadOS 18.3.1 Affinity Photo Version: 11021 Hello, I’m experiencing a serious issue with the brush tool in Affinity Photo on my iPad. Whenever I draw, the brush stroke produces random noise/glitches, as seen in the attached screenshot. Issue details: The brush tool creates unwanted pixelated noise around the strokes. It happens with different brushes, not just one. Restarting the app and the iPad did not fix the issue. I tried reinstalling the app, but the problem persists. I couldn’t find a "hardware acceleration" setting to toggle on iPad. Is this a known bug? Are there any settings I can change to fix this? Screenshot attached. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! GarryP Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Welcome to the forums @nanana07 This is a known issue with the V1 applications and it is unlikely to be fixed as the V1 applications are no longer being routinely maintained.
