Hi there,

I was wondering how you can manage a huge amount of fonts files on your ipad, without every single one of them being installed at all times. In Windows or Mac you have these nice programs where you can add the fonts needed for your particular project, and then just turn them on all at once only when you are working on that specific project.

Is there anything similar available on iOS? If not, how do you handle a large font list so that they don’t all have to be “active” at all times?

Many thanks,

Matt

First suggestion: Install them using a font management app of some kind, not using the Affinity application itself.

Beyond that, I don't think there are any font managers for iPad that will handle automatic installation/activation when you open a document that uses a particular font. But iFont, for example, seems to distinguish between Imported fonts and Installed fonts, and so it might allow you to have a bunch of fonts Imported but only a subset of them Installed. It also allows grouping of fonts, which might make it easier to install or uninstall a set of fonts that you need for a particular project but want to usually keep uninstalled.
