I am a first time user of Affinity V2. Using MacBook Pro and Sequoia 15.2. When opening a RAW file I get a black screen and the picture does not open.

Am I doing something incorrectly or is this a software issue? see my screenshot

Hi @vnorton and welcome to the forums,

Nikon Z6 III RAW file support has been added to Affinity Photo 2.6 which is currently in Beta RC2 so should hopefully be officially launched soon... The Z6 III isn't supported in Affinity Photo 2.5.7 which is why you're likely seeing the black screen...

If you can upload one of your RAW files we can confirm that it opens without issue in the 2.6 Beta for peace of mind...

A full list of supported cameras for 2.5.7 can be found here and for 2.6.0 here...

Affinity Designer 2.5.7 | Affinity Photo 2.5.7 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.7
Affinity Designer Beta 2.6.0.3125 | Affinity Photo Beta 2.6.0.3125 | Affinity Publisher Beta 2.6.0.3125

MacBook Pro M3 Max, 36 GB Unified Memory, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, Magic Mouse
HP ENVY x360, 8 GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, Windows 10 Home, Logitech Mouse
