jacmar Posted January 29 Posted January 29 When I try to open a files made by mac version from iPad the files name are grey and not selectable. Same thing when I try to open a file made by ipad from cloud Quote
Staff Lee D Posted January 30 Staff Posted January 30 @jacmar Welcome to the forums. A general workflow for working/moving file between desktop and iPad is: Use File > Save and save the file locally on your system to a non sync folder/location and close the file within the app. You can then manually move the file to cloud storage*. Open the app and tap Open > Open Document, the Files browser built into iPadOS will appear. Browse to your cloud storage and your .afdesign file should be available to select (tap) and open. After you've finished editing, return to the Live Doc screen and tap the 3 lines icon under your files preview and tap Save *Some cloud services may have issues with our native file formats (.afdesign/afphoto/afpub) We also have this Affinity Spotlight article available outlining the same workflow. (The article uses our V1 apps but the general workflow is the same) Quote
jacmar Posted January 30 Author Posted January 30 Ok! in effect I had the issue with Google drive; using iCloud, instead, I can access the files normally Thank you very much for your answer. Lee D 1 Quote
