I imported an idml that someone created on a Mac into Windows Affinity Publisher 2. I can edit text in the text frames in the document, but the handles for resizing the text boxes are X's, and I can't resize them. The layers with the text boxes don't seem to be locked. What am I missing?

I had been trying things for hours, but found the answer immediately after posting the question. I had to go up several levels in the layers to the master layer, and change the check mark from Edit Frame Content to Edit Linked in the right-click menu.

Welcome to the forums @Ron the Engineer

If that layer definitely isn’t locked then it’s probably on a Master Page.

There are various ways that you can change it, but the simplest to describe is to double-click on the master page in the Pages Panel and then edit that layer from there, then double-click on the page (again in the Pages Panel ) which you were on originally to resume what you were doing.

Other people might give you different methods.

Note: Full-screen (whole application UI) screenshots are much better for us to see what’s what than a limited-area screen-grab.
