Hi,

I have recently upgraded to a new computer and have migrated Affinity Publisher to it. But I see that all my settings are back to defaults. I have been reading help and checking these forums but I don't see any information about whether I can move a settings file to my new install. I also checked online search and some have said that the settings come along with the account. I have found that not to be the case.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Affinity forums.

Assuming that both computers use the same OS (both Windows, or both macOS), then there are files (or directories) you could copy from one computer to the other that contain all the application settings and user-installed content (Assets, etc.). This FAQ for V2 describes where to find them, which depends on the OS you're using, the Store you downloaded the application from, and (if using Windows) the kind of installer you used. (If you use V1, not V2, there's a different FAQ.)
