V2 Publisher scaling some images in data merge

Hey All,

 Wondering what I'm doing that is causing this. I'm using data merge, have the properties set to not scale the image, but when I am previewing and the images are being scaled to random sizes. I deleted the existing Picture Frames and made new ones but it is still happening. Is this just a preview error?
I think things are exporting at the right size, I need to further investigate each file separating to verify but any idea why this is happening in the preview?

Can confirm I'm able to replicate this, enabling 'Preview with record' and changing between data merge preview records on a unscaled picture frame incrementally scales down the image content in my example, however when the merge is generated the images appear at the expected scale. This is unexpected behaviour and i'll get this logged with the developers.

Thank you for confirming it wasn't just me. I appreciate you taking the time to test it. When you mention "preview records on an unscaled picture frame" is this something I can correct with a setting? I have them set to 100% but it keeps changing it.

Hi @JustMeTrying,

It's not something that can be changed with a setting amendment, it just appears to be a visual bug when switching the record preview. If you generate the merge, you should notice that the images have the correct scaling in the merged document.

Yes the merge does work correctly. The issue is with the preview not working is I'm dealing with multiple text boxes and fields in the data merge that have to be in a certain place depending on the image in the image frame. So it makes for a fun time when adjusting things.
