Viktor CR Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Imagine you're designing a poster and want to produce it in full color, on a bright background on a dark, desaturated background on a dark colorful background in greyscale etc. Each of these require the content to have different colors, e.g. the dark background will need bright content colors for contrast. Now, you could just make unique versions of the content, but when it's time to update the content, a LOT of work and with that errors are waiting to be done. Embedding a document, that has all the main content, would make sense … all variants would update with the central content document — but: there is no way to change an embedded document's features. I'd like to propose an embedded document "Interface", that includes global colors text styles … and allows a designer to redefine a global color, e.g. "Main Text", which is by default a black color, with a local override to e.g. a bright orange color. The embedded document would be listed as a color palette or – for text styles – as a separate section in the styles panel. Quote
