ValerieCMG Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Making a pdf portfolio (290 pages, 144dpi). Previously used Indesign and the images were clear and file size was 60MB. But now using Affinity publisher (137 pages, 144dpi), the images are slightly less clear and PDF size is 190MB. People will download from my website and i need a smaller size. Is there a way to compress or reduce the PDF file size but retain the image quality?!?!?! Quote
Komatös Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Hello and welcome the the forums @ValerieCMG If adjusting the default settings does not produce the desired output size, you can try using third-party tools to minimise the size. Try this tool: https://www.rootrisetech.com/product/pdfoptim A good explanation for the application can be found here: Quote MAC mini M4 | MacOS Sequoia 15.3.2 | 16 GB RAM | 256 GB SSD AMD Ryzen 7 5700X | INTEL Arc A770 LE 16 GB | 32 GB DDR4 3200MHz | Windows 11 Pro 24H2 (26100.3194) Affinity Suite V 2.6.1 & Beta 2.6 (latest) Interested in a free (selfhosted) PDF Solution?
