Hi there,

New to affinity and having trouble with selecting individual channels. I cannot seem to be able to right click any of them even though some tutorials I've seen on YT suggest that this is possible. I also can't hit Command (Mac) and then click on the channel I want to select specific pixels. My pixel layer is selected in the layers channel. Is there anything I'm missing here or is it just not possible to select individual channels or right click in the channels panel?

The channels panel is tricky to use one not very intuitive (just the opposite).

please check carefully which function / operation you intent to use and if it requires left or right click.

Then check if you need/want to use a composite channel, or a specific layer channel, or a spare channel. Depending on channel type the list of functions varies.
