coleworks Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 (edited) Hi all. This is my first post, so excuse me for any errors. I am using Affinity Designer V2. The problem I have is quite simple. When you zoom in, a typeface with and without stroke look the same. Like this : But when I zoom out, the weights are noticeably different : Left is the typeface without a stroke, and right is the same typeface and weight, but with a stroke of matching color with the background. I really need both to look consistent, since I use the stroke when passing over other lines. It really does give some ugly results when zoomed out. I doubt it's the typeface because I experimented with both Arial (a preinstalled font) and the font I am using for my project, Transit. I tried all resampling presets when I export the file to PNG, all give the same result. Edited December 28, 2024 by coleworks Quote
coleworks Posted December 28, 2024 Author Posted December 28, 2024 I fixed it! Just needed to draw the stroke from behind, instead of on top. It's in the Stroke window! kenmcd and Callum 2 Quote
