Kennerd Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 Hey there. I have the 16.2 M1 Max MacBook Pro. I also have the ViewSonic VP16 for a second monitor for previewing my work. I'm new to being color space aware and am not sure what the settings and workflow should be for the best accuracy I can achieve with my setup. Wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for best settings, advice, etc so that, as much as possible, what I see on my screen is what I can expect in my graphics order when I receive it from the printer. Thanks! Quote
thomaso Posted December 20, 2024 Posted December 20, 2024 If you have no colour management skills the app's default settings may be sufficient or even the best for now. Colour management is a complex, sprawling topic that covers various hard- and software, as well as aspects of document properties and usage. There are countless articles, recommendations, tutorials, etc. on the web, so it seems to make more sense in this forum to ask a less general but quite specific question. Possibly this Serif article is a useful start: https://affinityspotlight.com/article/display-colour-management-in-the-affinity-apps/ Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
