gimlimeesh Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 Currently running versions 2.5.5 of Designer and Photo under Windows 10 64 bit. On creating/placing text, the text is always sharp with no anti-aliasing applied. I think there is an anti-aliasing function available if required when creating texts? If so, How to enable it? And, are there different degrees of anti-aliasing such as sharp or smooth etc? Quote
NotMyFault Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 Switch the view mode to Pixel. You can use blend options to adjust the AA curve / profile. https://affinity.help/designer2/en-US.lproj/pages/Layers/layerBlendRanges.html note that the ramp profile is broken and probably never get fixed. When you add nodes on the existing line, without moving the nodes the rendering changes. gimlimeesh Posted December 19, 2024 Author Posted December 19, 2024 Thanks for the detailed reply. I am relatively new to using these Affinity products, so I am not familiar with most of the functions as yet. Figured out how to select the Pixel View Mode. But I can't seem to find the Blend Options to adjust the antialiasing? Quote
NotMyFault Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 Use the burger symbol in the layer panel. I would recommend to watch the excellent tutorial videos to learn the basics.
