Please excuse my lack of terminology on this one as I'm relatively new to Designer.

I've created two Curves, then merged them. I then use this shape as a mask for an image but a vertical line is created at the midpoint.

Maybe there's a better approach for this?

Thanks in advance,

Most likely the shapes weren’t correctly aligned to the pixel grid, so the edge pixels got semitransparent by fractional position or size.

To avoid, use the transform panel and activate the „pixel“ view mode, and ensure both parts are perfectly aligned, or overlapping before merging them.

If you can upload the afdesign file we could check how to correct the existing file.

It depends on the type of layer (curve or pixel) what steps are needed.

I use iPad screenshots and videos even in the Desktop section of the forum when I expect no relevant difference.
