Nicolaj1900 Posted December 10, 2024 Posted December 10, 2024 Hello, I am making a wheel pack for a game but I want to put an image on a circle path. how to do it? (I put image as a example that I found on google) greetings Quote
NotMyFault Posted December 10, 2024 Posted December 10, 2024 Hi, option one: add a live mesh warp filter, and adjust the 4 nodes accordingly. option 2: make a copy of the wheel. mark intended start / end position of image rasterize use polar to rectangular filter place the image at the intended location merge down use rectangular to polar filter Nicolaj1900 1 Quote Mac mini M1 A2348 | MBP M3 Windows 11 - AMD Ryzen 9 5900x - 32 GB RAM - Nvidia GTX 1080 LG34WK950U-W, calibrated to DCI-P3 with LG Calibration Studio / Spider 5 | Dell 27“ 4K iPad Air Gen 5 (2022) A2589 Special interest into procedural texture filter, edit alpha channel, RGB/16 and RGB/32 color formats, stacking, finding root causes for misbehaving files, finding creative solutions for unsolvable tasks, finding bugs in Apps. Nicolaj1900 Posted December 16, 2024 Author Posted December 16, 2024 Hello, sorry for the late reply. The results are not as I wanted when I put it. I have tried text path as well, I have put Michelin and Goodyear tyre logos on circle as text path (copied the logo and paste on the path) but the logos/icons will not bend, how to fix it? greetings Quote

Well, you must ensure all is perfectly set up the wheel layer must be pixel-perfect (but using an odd number to get one center pixel) and identical for x/y axis the wheel must be perfectly centered The logo must be in suitable size and as sharp as possible Can you elaborate what went wrong? NotMyFault Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 1 hour ago, Nicolaj1900 said: path) but the logos/icons will not bend That is correct. to get the logos bend, you must use one of the tools: mesh warp rectangular to polar And ensure the required constraints like rectangular layers, perfect alignment etc. if you can provide the wheel and the logo in a file, I can create a screen recording showing the exact steps. NotMyFault Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 As you can see your wheel is not centered. NotMyFault Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 I prepared the wheel layer by cropping to 493x393px for perfect centering checked centering by donut tool added 2px symmetrically at each side in white (required for later steps) for remaining steps see video ScreenRecording_12-16-2024 18-03-32_1.mp4 Nicolaj1900 1 Quote Mac mini M1 A2348 | MBP M3 Windows 11 - AMD Ryzen 9 5900x - 32 GB RAM - Nvidia GTX 1080 LG34WK950U-W, calibrated to DCI-P3 with LG Calibration Studio / Spider 5 | Dell 27“ 4K iPad Air Gen 5 (2022) A2589 Special interest into procedural texture filter, edit alpha channel, RGB/16 and RGB/32 color formats, stacking, finding root causes for misbehaving files, finding creative solutions for unsolvable tasks, finding bugs in Apps. NotMyFault Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 After the distortion filters you get a little radial color spill on the white background. Simply clean this up later, you need to cut out the circular center piece and add a white background. NotMyFault Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 In case you want to add vector based logos, Designer and the live mesh warp group would be easier to use.
