Unfortunately this bug has been reported numerous times. If your work REQUIREs you to load and save documents from external, cloud, or network/shared drives, I recommend you DO NOT use Affinity software as they have been unable or unwilling to solve this issue for YEARS now. The ability for their customers to reliably save files is apparently not as important as adding AI Object Select and other garbage useless features which waste their limited development resource. I guess the marketing dept decides what's important. They have to keep up with the Jones' (Adobe) at the expense of the basics. This comment will likely be delete as my other ones expressing frustration after YEARS of BEGGING for stability.
