Gsk01 Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 A very annoying and odd glitch in the new Affinity Publisher 2.5.6 update: On version 2.5 When I had text in a story flowing across several pages using linked text boxes and opened up one of those boxes, it pulled up the text from the box proceeding one with no problem. When I do this now the 2.5.6 update makes the text that is pulled up much larger or much larger size then I have to go and reset all the type again. Then if I open up the text box again, it completely undoes what I fix. Quote
MikeTO Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 One of the two text frames likely has content scaling. Select the first frame and look at the bottom-right corner - is the outer handle (the Content Scaling handle) solid blue? If so, the frame's contents has been scaled. Then select the second frame and check it. Double-click a solid blue Content Scaling handle to reset the frame to 100%. Then re-apply the formatting attributes or styles to make the text the correct size. After the two frames have the same content scaling, text will flow between them without changing size.
