Can't seem to find the error while exporting file

Recommended Posts

I'm using Affinity Publisher V2 2.5.6 and am always getting the error message while exporting one of my reduced file.

Not to mention only the error, I've noticed that it has a terrible delay prior to exporting, and the estimated file size stops at 16%.

The other (same) file which is double its size exports just fine.

I hope someone can let me know of the solution!

Hi @Jean Marie and welcome to the forums,

Assuming you are exporting your file to a PDF, there is a known regression in the 2.5.6 release causing the export error. The temporary workaround (if it's an option for you) is to check the Embed Profiles option in the Advanced section of the PDF Export Window.

Let us know if that works for you...

Hi @Jean Marie,

i would imagine we’ll probably see a patch for this bug in the next few days though there’s no confirmation of that but if you’re not able to wait until a patch is released below is a link to an FAQ providing some additional workarounds which may or may not be helpful depending on the nature of your project.
