Documents gone

I just purchased the Black Friday deal and I am no longer on the trial version. I am using an iPad Pro. 

i have used the trial version a lot as I have dropped illustrator. I had many documents in the start up screen. 
‘Like an newbie (that I am not) I did not back up those files. My understanding was on my iPad they would automatically save.

When I signed in under the upgrade, all of my documents went missing. I looked in the affinity designer folder in the cloud and they aren’t there. I am talking hours worth of work that are gone!!

can anyone give me tips on finding them? I have not upgraded my laptop yet and I am hoping they might be there as the two were synced.

Well no worries, seven hours later and they have all returned! It’s magic!! Whooo hoooo!

Hello, 

I have a similar issue. I just purchased the black friday deal for Affinity designer on ipad only. 

My documents were still on the app but I try to save one of my project and the app crashed. Since then the document fail to load on the app ( but the preview on the main page is still here) and this document is not saved on my ipad folders. How can I restore this document please (I worked so many hours on it 😭) ??
