affinity photo 2.6 beta doesnt show machine learning tools

Hi

Maybe I am missing out something here.I downloaded the 2.6 beta and dont seem to find the option to install the machine learning add ons .I am at the latest version of Mac OS 15.1.1. I use a 2019 intel machine. Any help would be appreciated.btw I used the universal Mac installer to install.

Please see this statement from Serif regarding availability. You won't be able to install these on an Intel Mac.

COMPATIBILITY: Sorry but due to the functions we need to run the Object Selection and Subject Selection functionality, the Machine Learning features only available on Apple Silicon iPads and macOS devices (and those need to be running on a recent macOS, as Catalina, Big Sur and Monterey do not support the required calls). Machine Learning will run on both Windows x64 and Arm64 hardware running Windows 10 or Windows 11.

Unfortunately MikeTO is right. Machine Learning features are only available on Apple Silicon. I own the last Intel MacBook Pro, bought in 2020, and will also not be able to use the new features. Checked this with 2.6 Beta on my machine. This will be problematic for me, because I had no plan to buy a new machine, already. I'm now unsure whether Affinity Photo will still be my choice in the future...

 I too was disappointed to find I could not try this feature.  Is not made obvious before download.  will be uninstalling the beta.
