Export to PDF error

I just updated to the latest version and tried to export my Publisher document as a PDF.  I shut down and restarted after the first error and changed the destination to the drive on my computer instead of the shared drive.  Still getting this error with no other explanation.

Solved! I went back the the previous version and the export worked just fine.  Affinity take note!

Having the same issue, I'm not able to export as a PDF at all after this morning's update, same error message.

Hi All,

This seems to be a bug introduced in the 2.5.6 update, for now you can either roll back to 2.5.5 or tick embed profile in the PDF export options to prevent the error from occurring. I apologise for any inconvenience this might cause.

Had the same error. The embed profile worked with 2.5.6 but even with small 72 dpi output selected the file was 26.3 MB. Bringing it into Adobe Acrobat and choosing compress brought the file down to 9.74 MB. I really like Publisher but would suggest that small should mean small. 🙂

The issue "Export to PDF fails if using High Quality preset without embed ICC profile ticked" (REF: AF-5175) has been fixed by the developers in 2.5.7 Release.
