walt.farrell Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 There is an application Setting, in the Tools section I think, for "Move Tool Aspect Constrain Ratio" which defaults to Automatic, but which you could change to Constrain or to Don't Constrain. This determines what happens when you are resizing an object and either use or do not use the Shift key. If you leave it on Automatic then the behavior changes depending on the kind of object you're working on. Perhaps you would prefer setting it to Constrain or to Don't Constrain, depending on how you would like it to work by default.
