Jonopen Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Two things. 1) After seting up an isometric grid and ticking 'Create plane set' I cannot switch to view the second or up axis grid lines using the default keyboard shortcut. 2) when attempting to open a file that could not be found from the recent document list, and then saying 'Yes' to have the file removed from the list, the document is still listed. v2.5.3 Designer/Photo/Publisher | Mac mini (M1, 2020) | Sonoma 14.5
JET_Affinity Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 The grid switching works here (though I do have other issues with it). You're not perchance using the Ctrl key with it, are you? JET
Jonopen Posted July 4, 2016 Author Posted July 4, 2016 Thanks JET for reply. I wasn't using the Ctrl key, but I am now wondering if I am using the correct "single key modifier". The help file says to use the ' key, but the tutorial (created using the Mac version) uses the Command+" key. Either way I can't get it to switch and have been right through the keyboard including multiple combinations. In doing this I discovered pressing Alt+Shift+' causes a crash (screenshot of code attached). v2.5.3 Designer/Photo/Publisher | Mac mini (M1, 2020) | Sonoma 14.5
Jonopen Posted July 5, 2016 Author Posted July 5, 2016 Just found under Edit --> preferences --> Keyboard shortcuts --> Miscellaneous, an option to assign a shortcut to 'Cycle Snapping Planes'. Have now assigned the ' key and confirm that it now switches planes. No yellow warning triangle was displayed indicating key in use. v2.5.3 Designer/Photo/Publisher | Mac mini (M1, 2020) | Sonoma 14.5
