MKe
HI, I want to realize Brochure on my Epson SC-P500 Printer and ran into heavy issue I can’t explain. Setting up DINA5 pages, which I want to print on DIN A4 paper. Printing a brochure out of Publisher on my office printer goes well, if I print on my “big” SC-P5000 part of my image is eaten up and weird borders come up. My suspicion is, that Publisher does not or not correctly reads the “margin” parameter of the printer. I am really keen on a correction or any kind of workout to be able to print from Publisher. Using PDF export and printing from Acrobat sizes down everything automatically and does not help. Here the details: This is my workspace, showing a spread with 0 mm border on the left - see Workspace 2.jpg. This is the print menu, you see the pink line indicating already that some areas are out of print range - see Druckmenü.jpg. The print looks like this - see Epson Preview 2.jpg 1. It eats up the top of the Image up to point “A” 2. The bottom of the image stays (“B”), but a margin “C”, 11mm width, appears. 3. Another margin “D”, 14 mm width, appears. Following the printer manual, standard borders are 3 mm, except 14 mm for the “end of paper” – fits with “D”. Any hint will help - but for now Publisher is ot working for me 😞 Best, Martin
Hangman
Hi @MKe, Would it not make sense, if you're printing DIN A5 spreads on DIN A4 paper to use the SC-P5000's Borderless Printing option which should avoid any borders... MKe
I find a/the solution..not without mentioning that the following options are not covered in Epson's manual at all. If you select manual feed, a button next to it "Druckbarer Bereich" (printable area) appears and if you switch it to "Maximal" Affinity Publisher use the whole page - see attached image.
