Vector Polygon Graphic

I am trying to create a vector polygon graphic, similar to what you see in this tutorial below, in Affinity Designer:

Is there something similar to the pathfinder tool mentioned in this tutorial in Designer? How can I effectively create this type of design in Designer? Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes, you can use geometry operations to achieve similar results.

Thanks for letting me know. I am still fairly new to Affinity Designer. Could you explain more about how to achieve that? I haven't been able to find any Affinity tutorials on this topic.
