Emmit Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 I don't know what I'm missing, and this may seem obvious to some, but I'm struggling with the "Shape Text" layer. I've created a shape, added text — but for the life of me cannot figure out how to edit the SHAPE fill color and stroke (not the text color or stroke) once the text has been added. I've searched the internet and forums. Searched the manual. I cannot seem to understand how to do this simple thing... for example in the image below, all I want to do is change the shape's fill color. Help! Quote
walt.farrell Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 Only Publisher supports adjusting the Fill and Stroke for Shape Text, and in Publisher you adjust it using the Text Frame panel. In Photo and Designer you can duplicate the Shape before you convert it, set the Stroke and Fill of the duplicate, and then Group then after you convert one to Shape Text. Emmit Posted August 26, 2024 Author Posted August 26, 2024 Ok. Thanks... Just seemed like this was a thing that was possible in Designer (i did know about publisher). Appreciate it. Quote

It was a new function added with Publisher. You're welcome.
