Hi,

I'm making textures for a game that wants PNG images with all four RGBA channels present. I'm wondering if there's a way to export a fully opaque image with the alpha channel included? My current solution is making a single pixel transparent so that Affinity Photo 2 exports it with the alpha channel included.

Is there a better solution for this that doesn't involve opening the exported image in another piece of software after export?

Hi @Swingly welcome to the forums & apologies for the late response,

The Alpha channel is omitted if the pixel contents are fully opaque during PNG export, as far as I'm aware there isn't an export config option to force the alpha channel on export, you'd need to introduce transparency in some form to the pixel content. One way to do this could be using the eraser brush tool set to 1% opacity and a 1px radius and brushing over a singular pixel.
