Create New Colour

Are you sure these are the colours you can create with this image, AD2?

I had the location set to 'Currently Selected Palette' but instead of adding it to the current one, it created a new palette.

Using pure CMYK colours, it still isn't trying to create exact replicas of the image.

If I have my colours locked to CMYK and my document setup to be that, it still doesn't make the import choose the correct colours.

Which is strange to me.  I figured it would copy colours exactly then if you increase the number it will start to make variations.  I got those two source images from directly snipping from AD2, using rectangle boxes that had the exact colouring on their sliders.
...
I'm noticing a lack of options on this 'Import From Image' feature.  There is no 'Create triad, complementary' etc.  ?
