I am exporting some images Textures from UE5, to make some adjustments for an asset I am working on. However, it has HSL adjustments as in the attached image below. The question is that the values are obviously different to how Affinity uses them, so how would I go about converting the HSL to match what I would need to put into Affinity Designer/Photo?

I know this is a long shot, but I can not find any info on how UE5 treats or does this.

This knowledge appears to be necessary to determine the formula for converting between UE and Affinity.

If you experience -> know the maximum values for UE, you can draw conclusions about its system. Usually, hue has degrees as unit and 360 as maximum, saturation is set in Affinity as a percentage from 0 - 100. Once you know the maximum values, you can convert the values via the rule of three.

• MacBookPro Retina 15" |  macOS 10.14.6  | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
• iPad 10.Gen.  |  iOS 18.5.  |  Affinity V2.6

What about the Curves?

It depends what they cause in UE.

"Brightness Curve" could have an equivalent in those Affinity's adjustments that affect brightness, for instance "Levels Adjustment", "Curve Adjustment", "Brightness and Contrast" et al.

"RGBCurve" possibly affects the Gamma value according to this forum's post: https://forums.unrealengine.com/t/should-i-create-image-using-linear-gamma-or-2-2-gamma-then-modify-within-ue4/125775
In Affinity you can set Gamma with a "Levels Adjustment" for instance. In Affinity the value has a range from 0 to 2, again you need to know and consider the man/max values in UE as mentioned before and possibly their default value (= no change) which appears to be 1 in Affinity (not 0).
