Hi! A few days ago, my app started to closed outta nothing… at the moment I’m going thru a desing and just as I change to pxl clicking on any action or trying to do any action the app closes, this never happened before. I did checked the space on my iPad and e everything runs ok.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble!

I'm not seeing the same behaviour here currently, though we've seen intermittent issues on iPads previously if they have not been recently restarted.

Can you please follow the FAQ steps below to perform this restart and let me know if this stops the crashing for you? :)

Hi! I already did the restore and still have the issue, I added a vid so you could see what the issue is.

Many thanks for trying that for me and for your screen recording provided - I'm not seeing this issue on our iPads here, but is the issue specific to this file shown, or does the app crash when editing other files also?

If only this one file, are you able to provide a copy of it here for me?

Finally, is the app creating Crash Reports? If so can you attach the latest 2-3 reports here for me also?

Hi Dan! Thanks for giving a follow up to my issue…. The app crashes and shut down as soon as I change to pixel persona or at the first attempt of use any tool in it.

OK for some reason now it’s letting me work into some files. I did another recording so you can check it out. Didn’t show me any problem with the first file, but choosing another one it crashes again. 

At the moment the app just restarts, it hasn’t create any reports.

Our sincerest apologies for the delayed response here and many thanks for providing your screen recording - our team have been trying to replicate these crashes, though thus far we've been unable.

Can you please confirm for me, how much free space is available on your iPad currently? If you aren't sure you can find this under iPad Settings > General > Storage

What version of iPadOS is installed?

In the Affinity app, under Settings > General please untick Cache Screen Updates, then restart the app as prompted. Does this stop the crashing occurring please? :)
