Hi,

I want to vectorize a logo from an image. I went to Canva and chose an app to do the tracer. After doing the trace, I downloaded the svg file. After that I went to Affinity Designer 2.4 and opened the file. Apparently the image was transformed into a vector and I can change and resize it. However, I have only been using Affinity Designer for a short time and I would like to know how I can select just a few objects. For example, I wanted to select the first "C" of the Cocacola brand, but when I try to select it automatically selects all the text. How can I select only one letter at a time. Attached image with example.

best regards

Hi @rpcf,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
With the object selected go to menu Layer > Geometry > Divide or click the respective button in the main toolbar (Boolean Operations section, last icon). This will separate the object in all its paths. You will have to subtract the inner parts of the "a" letter (for example) from its overall shape to get a single "a" letter object with the "hole" again.

Hi @rpcf,

Done. Thanks
