Text tool-Right to left-Not working properly

I was trying the app until I saw text tool is not working right, when I wanted to right a "Right to left" text,such as Hebrew,Persian,Arabic ....

It just shows the alphabet in a weird order and they are not ordered as they should be!

Overall good app! Im planing to buy it, but since Im a "Right to left" middle eastern I need this feature ! 

Are you guys planning to fix it ? Or this just doesn't matter because no one cares? Whats the situation?

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

Currently Affinity apps don't support RTL (right-to-left) languages. We do intend to add it at some point but there's currently other things taking priority. This is also difficult to implement properly so it won't appear any time soon, sorry.

I see that this "feature" (i can hardly call it a feature) was asked long time ago.

The ability of typing a text and working on typography in a work is very fundamental for any kind of design.

I bought this app because i thought i can work with it. Though i went through all the information on the website of affinity and also the App Store before i decided to buy this app, i couldn't find any hint that this app can't handle the RTL languages.

I think you have to inform your customers correctly about your app.

Now i,ve bought an app that is of no use!

Just purchased Affinity Designer.

When I started writing in Hebrew, I found that the app doesn't support RTL.

 

I'll ask Apple for a refund, what a dissapointment.
