Hi, so Ill start by prefacing that this doesnt happen with every color code but it does happen often.

Today for example I am trying to achieve the color Royal Blue (RGB Hex# 4169E1 ) When i do this the color on the screen is purple. I even printed it out on my Epson F570 and pressed it to a substrate fabric and sure enough its purple.  This also happened to me last week when i was trying to create the Argentinia and Equador Flag colors. I ended up just grabbing the color picker and using that to obtain the color i needed, but this cant always be the solution.

Is there something I might have clicked that has caused this color shift?

If theres any information i didnt provide please let me know. Id really like to fix this.

It looks like your document may be in CMYK, rather than RGB, based on what I see in your Color panel.

When you try to use RGB colors, they will be converted to CMYK and in that process may not look the same.
