Hey Everybody,

I want to be able to Shear some individual letters/numbers/characters within the bounding box of my Artistic Text, but I see that I am unable to do it. (or should I say that I haven't figured it out yet)

Let's say within the sentence, 'My dog is tall', I want to give the word 'dog' a slight angle - When I highlight dog by itself and start adjusting shear, everything that's included within that same bounding box shears as well. Is there any way that selected characters ONLY can be sheared by themselves?

I just tried with the Frame Text tool and it's the same results with that as well. I'm thinking that there has to be a way of doing this within Affinity as opposed to going through the hassle of creating a completely different line of text, set it up as I want, and then go through the trouble of perfectly lining up both together.

Anybody out there have a remedy for me?

THANX!

How does this file open for you?

AHHH, I see now!!! My problem was that I was attempting to get this done from the 'Transform' panel. Using 'Character' never crossed my mind - probably because I figured that it would give me the same results.

Greatly appreciate the help @Old Bruce!!
