PanGad
Hi All, I am trying to add some Fields from the Document Information section but I can't seem to locate them. There is only a limited choice of Fields available from Insert->Fields menu. When I click on More, at the bottom of the menu, nothing happens. I did already restarted Publisher. It didn't seem to help. Any suggestions?
walt.farrell
Do you have both the Left and Right Studio panels showing? If not, trying showing them via Window > Studio >. If both are already showing, check for Window > Reference > Fields and if that doesn't help, you may need to reset your Studio: Window > Studio > Reset Studio. PanGad
Thank you for your reply @walt.farrell. I realised that to insert any of the Fields I can just double-click on its label/ name on the left in the Studio window. walt.farrell
walt.farrell
Clicking More from the Insert menu you mentioned earlier should have taken you to that panel. You said, though, that "nothing happens" so I thought perhaps your Studio was configured incorrectly. PanGad
Ah, sorry for the confusion. I had Studio window already open so I didn't realise that More was meant to open it otherwise. walt.farrell
vXp
FYI - I was exporting a pdf within Designer 2.5 - The title was from a previous version of the doc. I could not find anywhere how to change the title in Designer. To resolve I saved/closed the doc from designer and opened it in publisher where I could change the title field. Export from Publisher - correct title when pdf opened in browser Export from Designer - correct title when pdf opened in browser Is there a way to do this in designer???
