pkclsoft
I have a document with 3 or 4 groups. If I select a layer within one of those groups and try to reposition it either with the mouse or via the arrow keys, it immediately drops to the bottom of the document (on the Z axis), out of the group. Hangman
Hi @pkclsoft, I believe this is expected behaviour because all your layers and groups are sitting above your Artboard rather than within it which means if you were to move the Artboard itself none of the layers and groups would move with it. If you take all the layers and groups and nest them within the Artboard so the Artboard is the Parent then you won't experience this issue. Note: it has always worked this way. pkclsoft
Thank you for that response. To be honest I am puzzled because I was sure it didn't behave like this when I set up this document a couple weeks back. As the app updated a couple of days back, I saw the behaviour as a result of that. Having said that, indeed, moving it all to be a child of the Artboard solved this movement issue. Many thanks.
