Naomi Kane Posted April 11 Share Posted April 11 I am dealing with a crisis here. I have a deadline to meet and my Affinity Designer and Publisher will not load. The program opens, is visible for a second and then crashes, disappears. I have downloaded the latest updates, I have restarted my computer, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the apps. Hangman Posted April 11 Share Posted April 11 Hi @Naomi Kane and welcome to the forums, Try holding the Ctrl Key, keeping it held down while launching one of the Apps. When you see the Clear User Data screen, leave the default settings checked then click the Clear Button and see if that fixes the issue... Let us know how you get on just in case that doesn't fix things... Naomi Kane Posted April 11 Author Share Posted April 11 I held down ctrl and tried to open the app and literally nothing happened. It is like it doesn't exist at all now whether I hit ctrl or not. Also, is the version of the Affinity apps you're using downloaded from the App Store or directly from the Affinity (Serif) website? Naomi Kane Posted April 11 Author Share Posted April 11 Now I went to my search bar and opened the app not from the recently opened file and held down ctrl, the app is now open and still there but no Clear User Data came up.
