Affinity apps not loading

I am dealing with a crisis here.  I have a deadline to meet and my Affinity Designer and Publisher will not load.  The program opens, is visible for a second and then crashes, disappears.  I have downloaded the latest updates, I have restarted my computer, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the apps.  I have emailed support, yesterday morning.  Please, somebody help.

Hi @Naomi Kane and welcome to the forums,

Try holding the Ctrl Key, keeping it held down while launching one of the Apps. When you see the Clear User Data screen, leave the default settings checked then click the Clear Button and see if that fixes the issue...

Let us know how you get on just in case that doesn't fix things...

Hi @Naomi Kane,

Are you on Mac or Windows and which version of the respective OS are you using?

Also, is the version of the Affinity apps you're using downloaded from the App Store or directly from the Affinity (Serif) website?

Okay, I'm not entirely sure what happened but it sounds as though you're at least back up and running which is the main thing. Let us know if you run into any more issues... :)
