Chris_Blackpaw
Hello Affinity Team, I'd like to suggest two features for Affinity Designer that could greatly improve efficiency and user experience: Enhanced Layer Manipulation: A streamlined process for cutting or copying selections and pasting them into a new layer directly. This feature would make reorganizing design elements that are all located on one layer much simpler. (In Illustrator you can just press cmd / ctrl + x and paste the node content that has been cutout into a new layer) Selection Inversion in Node Tool Mode: The ability to invert selections while using the Node Tool. This addition would speed up the design process, especially when editing complex vector shapes. Implementing these features would significantly enhance the workflow for me and maybe benefiting many other users as well. Thank you for considering these suggestions. Best regards, Chris

But yeah, a keyboard shortcut option would be useful as well. Chris_Blackpaw
Sorry, maybe i worded that poorly. I meant to invert the current selection, so every other node point on the active layer gets selected. Pretty much like the pixel inversion behaves.

I know what you meant. It's still Ctrl-Shift-Drag… Just try it yourself.
