slice size

Hello,

one more question.

want to make slices I understand I can make linked and non linked slices.

I have a file with 100 logos and the dokument is 400 x 400 px. but the logos are center in the middle and

they are only 300 widht or 300 high.

Now I want to make and export slices they should be 400 x 400 px.

But I can only make the slices so that they have the size of the logo. Or go the manually way make

a manual slice for each logo. But I want to make a slice 400x400 for each logo and the logo should be center

and have size 300 x 300 you know I mean? The document should be 400 x 400 and the logos only 300 x 300

Ideal?

thx

north :)

No need to create a slice. You can always export the “background” item of your slices list. By doing so, you will create a document that has a size of 400 by 400 pixels. That should give you the desired result.  :)

I am not sure that I understand what you mean. But I have 100 logos in the file and do not want to export every logo manually. You know? I think your way explain how to make the document 400px and the logos 300px but that is what I know. Now I want to export every logo in a 400x400px document and the logo should be centered with 300x300 px. I know that I can export every logo manually. But do not want to export 100 logos manually. Maybe I did not understand your way ? Look at the screenshots maybe you will see better what I want.

That screen shot was very helpful. I see, all the logos are contained in the same document. Please let me apologize for this misunderstanding. So my suggested method won’t work in the present case. I fear there is no way to batch export all the logos on a 400 by 400 pixels transparent background without actually touching each of the layers in one way or the other …  :(
