A sign printer has told me that I need to supply him with an image that is a minimum of 300dpi.  My logo is 72dpi in two colors.

Is it possible with either Designer or Photo do change the dpi on a Mac?

Thanks, Jim

Hi @Jim Welch 1 and welcome to the forums,

It is indeed possible to change the dpi, however, there are potential implications depending on whether your logo is purely vector in nature or it is a bitmap logo...

Are you happy to upload your logo so we can take a look?

To change the dpi in Designer you would simply go to the Document Setup Dimensions tab, In Photo Document > Resize Document and leave resample enabled... but note that changing the dpi in Designer for a bitmap logo is not going to improve the quality of the logo itself...

Depending on the complexity of the logo, if it is a pure bitmap logo it may be possible to use a free online vectoriser tool to convert it to a vector logo which would give you much more flexibility and control...

If you can upload what you have you will likely receive plenty of options and suggestions in return...
