Picard06 Posted March 11, 2024 Posted March 11, 2024 Hi there! I am new to Affinity. I've read that you are allowed to install Affinity products on multiple devices. I am planning on doing so, but I was wondering, will the settings be synced across both devices? Yes- I have googled this, but I can't seem to find the answer. I personally would prefer if it would be "custom" for each device, so not synced. Will it automatically not sync, is this a setting, or is it always synced? To give a little more backstory on this question, lets say I move the Navigator frame to the top (instead of the bottom), will it also be at the top when I use my second PC? I've seen you can use "Studio presets", and lets say I use preset 1 on device 1, will it also be using preset 1 on my second PC? Or can I use preset 1 on PC 1, and preset 2 on PC 2 without having to set this up every time I switch? And the same goes for things like keyframes ^^ I hope someone is able to help me, I would really appreciate it! Kind regards, Picard06 PC 1: Ryzen 9 7950X3D | 64 GB DDR5-6000 | RTX 4070 Ti SUPER PC 2: Intel Core i9 14900K | 32 GB DDR5-4800 | RTX 3060 Professional video editor who likes to work with Affinity Photo from time to time. I love to watch Avatar: The Last Airbender, the original, but also the movie and the live action.

No. 57 minutes ago, Picard06 said: I've seen you can use "Studio presets", and lets say I use preset 1 on device 1, will it also be using preset 1 on my second PC? You would have to export Presets from device 1 and overwrite the file on device 2. Note that you should use descriptive names and not "Preset 1", "Preset 2", etc. Here on Mac OS 12.7.4 it is in; ~/Library/Application Support/Affinity Publisher 2/presets/your preset name here.preset 1 hour ago, Picard06 said: And the same goes for things like keyframes ^^ You have lost me with "keyframes^^". I have no idea what that means, with or without the ^^. Westerwälder 1 Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
