painted overlays in Affinity raw

Recommended Posts

In the raw processor is it possible to have more than one - active - painted overlay? I want to have different levels of exposure/shadows/highlights in a number of areas of the picture but can't see a 'new' button - as in Adobe Raw - to facilitate this.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

DH.

Hi Darren,

Welcome to the forums.

The Overlays panel doesn't have a 'new' button, however if you have used the Brush Overlay already, just click the brush icon again to insert another overlay. You can then select which one you wish to adjust and switch to the Basic panel to apply the adjustments.

Hope this helps.
