When I specify a selection range for copying and pasting, it becomes a layer copy.

Hello all, I have a problem!
I selected a layer, then copied and pasted a portion of the image, specifying the selection.
I expect the selection to be pasted.
However, the entire layer is actually pasted.
I have tried executing a restart of the application, but this does not improve results.
What is the cause of this and what can I do about it?

It's because it is an Image layer. You can change it to a pixel layer by rasterizing it, so that only the selected pixels will be copied.

After converting the image to "rasterize" I was able to copy and paste the selection!
