Can you try clicking Edit>Settings>Performance and if Hardware Acceleration is ticked, untick it and close Settings and you'll be asked to restart Affinity. Rathje Posted January 25 Author Share Posted January 25 I have tried both around 500 and around 1000 images. Hardware acceleration is active. But I tried another stacking program and it told me it couldn't identify enough stars, so maybe it's just my data this time? I have also been told that Affinity is slow and not that well with many images. The problem is more then, that Affinity doesn't tell what is wrong. It just hangs. I think I will continue by stacking in another program like DeepSkyStacker and then continue the post processing in Affinity. But thanks a lot for the suggestions.
