How to fill up the shape using shape builder with open curves?

Recommended Posts

Hi, i have problem with my sketch. I want to fill this sketch but i cant do this with shape builder but i think i cant do this if i have open curves?

one circle is made at the end and a cut line at the top so I can't fill in with colour

For example in Adobe Illustrator (at 2:00) he fill banan with random open curves. How do this same thing in Affinity?

  1. Draw a complete outline path around the banana and close it
  2. Draw shapes for the nose and tail ends and use the shapebuilder to remove the overlap.

See how this drawing is constructed.
