SuseH
Hi there, I'm working with Affinity for several years now and was always very satisfied. But since my update to newest Affinity Photo 2 the layer panel is gone, can't see it anymore. The older version of Affinity Photo shows the layer panel as known. So what is the problem and how can I solve it? Anybody out there to help me? Any help is highly appreciated For your info, I'm working on MacOs 11.7.10 – maybe that's the problem? walt.farrell
Are you saying that if you look in the Window menu you don't see an entry for Layers? Are you sure you're in the Photo Persona? SuseH
hi, thanks for your immediate help ! Yes, I'm in Photo Persona and as you see on my screenshots, I will send , in Persona there is no layer panel shown. Only if I switch to Export Persona the layer panel shows up and I can handle it. walt.farrell
Thanks. You seem to have requested it (Ebenen), so I can only wonder if you sometimes use multiple monitors, and have one of them disconnected or turned off? If that doesn't explain it, I would suggest you reset your studio: SuseH 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.
SuseH
That's it I did a reset and now I'm able to work with layers! Yippee – thank you so much for your help! Sometimes you're looking at all this stuff and you're seeing nothing although it is right in front of you . . . walt.farrell
