Hi there, I'm working with Affinity for several years now and was always very satisfied. But since my update to newest Affinity Photo 2 the layer panel is gone, can't see it anymore. The older version of Affinity Photo shows the layer panel as known. So what is the problem and how can I solve it? Anybody out there to help me? Any help is highly appreciated ;)  For your info, I'm working on MacOs 11.7.10 – maybe that's the problem?

Are you saying that if you look in the Window menu you don't see an entry for Layers? Are you sure you're in the Photo Persona?

hi, thanks for your immediate help ! Yes, I'm in Photo Persona and as you see on my screenshots, I will send , in Persona there is no layer panel shown. Only if I switch to Export Persona the layer panel shows up and I can handle it.

Thanks. You seem to have requested it (Ebenen), so I can only wonder if you sometimes use multiple monitors, and have one of them disconnected or turned off? If that doesn't explain it, I would suggest you reset your studio:
