Dennis Vorotnjak Posted December 23, 2023 Posted December 23, 2023 As I explained above there appear annoying dots that resemble the brush pattern as soon as I've finished moving the object. I am using a MacBook Pro 2013 and a Huion Kamvas Pro 13 as my drawing device. I don't remember ever dropping the pen or doing any kind of damage to either of the devices. This problem not only occurs when i hover over the canvas with the pen but also when i hover over it with the mouse trackpad of the MacBook although it happens less often. As you can see in the video attached below i am hovering over the canvas with a very fast motion but if i were to zoom out and change the direction of the pen while hovering less fast the same thing happens. If i were to only move my pen extremely slow i can avoid the issue but it is honestly still very annoying. I cannot undo the little dots that appear except if i use an eraser tool. If i use the undo command the last brush stroke vanishes instead of the last dot that appeared. If I use any other drawing software I can't replicate the same problem. This doesn't seem to be a performance issue because the dots are clearly part of the image as saving the document, closing it and then opening it again doesn't get rid of the dots. There are similar problems in this forum but none of them seem to fit my description so i would like to get a direct answer to my case. If anyone knows the cause of this issue please let me know. Dennis Vorotnjak Posted December 23, 2023 Author Posted December 23, 2023 I've just turned off the hardware acceleration under preferences < performance and it seems to have worked wonders. I should've read the forum guidelines but I guess it's better to share this problem so others may find use for it then never trying to communicate about this problem at all. Callum 1 Quote
